Lee Harvey Oswald, (born October 18, 1939, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.—died November 24, 1963, Dallas, Texas), accused assassin of U.S. Pres. John F. Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. He himself was fatally shot two days later by Jack Ruby (1911–67) in the Dallas County Jail.

Pioneer Park Cemetery
Pioneer Park was established in 1849 in area of Dallas that was characterized as being located on a high piece of ground and isolated from the original town of Dallas. Historically, it was four separate cemeteries: the Masonic Cemetery, the Odd Fellow's Cemetery, the Jewish Cemetery, and the City Cemetery. There has not been a burial at this site since 1921.
